Our experienced and professional Quality Assurance Team allows Calgary Phone Repair to offer you a Lifetime Warranty + Install Guarantee on all our Display, Screen & Digitizer Assemblies, available when used in conjunction with our technician services. All other parts and products, when combined with our technician services, are offered with up-to a 1 Year Limited Warranty, and clearly indicated on your invoice and when viewing the product links online. Unfortunately, even with such strict pre-fix and manufacturer testing, we understand that some defects may arise, either by nature of the fix, an uncaught manufacturer defect or damaged while shipping/unpacking the part(s). We’ve developed a simple solution, providing better transparency and clarity to both our Limited & Lifetime Warranty + Install Guarantee.

GENERAL WARRANTY EXPLANATION

We stock multiple types of products that we sell on different sales platforms and the specific warranty below applies to all our products sold with services (repair/fix) on any of our sales channels.

When you have your screen & display assembly fixed by Calgary Phone Repair, we ensure basic general functionality, certifications and manufacturer specific guarantees of all our screens and display assemblies for life based on each quality class we offer, provided your device being fixed has not been fixed by anyone prior to us (factory unopened) or it was previously fixed by only a Calgary Phone Repair technician.  The warranty does not cover physically damaged merchandise, parts that become damaged from a replacement of another part (eg. replaced battery that swells and breaks/damages screen and/or lcd), accidental or intentional damages, general wear & tear or pre/post-fix liquid damage and must have our identifiers on it. In extremely rare cases, any accidental damage(s) directly caused by the technician may be covered by that technician in terms of a comparable new part installed or the issue fixed free of charge or at part cost, or other solution determined by administration support (quite rare, an example would be a battery that is punctured during removal while completing a screen replacement is replaced by the tech for free due to the accidental puncture).

When you have other parts, like batteries, backs and ports fixed by us, we ensure integrity and general functionality of your part(s) installed for up-to 1 year, specific by each part fixed. This is clearly noted on your invoice and online when viewing the product or part online.

IMPORTANT DATA / DATA CORRUPTION DISCLAIMER: In the case of data loss or other non-tangible aspects of a fix, please email [email protected] for further instructions (there generally is no compensations for data loss or corruption). Please note, generally there are risks associated with electronics repair, namely those of data loss or corruption and we ask that you always have a current back-up prior to providing your device to a tech for repair. We do not warranty or make claim or guarantee that your data will be intact and/or not corrupted post fix, but on general level 1-4 repairs (eg. screens, batteries, backs), this risk is quite low. With level 5/board repairs, this risk is highly elevated and you’re always advised of the risk levels prior to consent to fix.

Warranty is null and void should Calgary Phone Repair cease operations in Canada or undergo insolvency or your device is transferred to another person. Lastly, we do not cover or provide warranty if your device(s) that was fixed with Calgary Phone Repair, is/are fixed by another repair business and/or non-Calgary Phone Repair Authorized Technician. We require that clients to give us 1st right of refusal for all devices previously repaired with Calgary Phone Repair under a warranty repair request(s) or support issue, before trying another repair shop or technician, otherwise your warranty request may be denied.

All Support / Warranty requests should be started at the Help/Support Page , or by emailing [email protected] from the email used to created your order. Failing this policy may result in a denial of warranty services or eligibility.

Please note, although your screen and display assembly part may be covered under our lifetime warranty program and other parts may be covered under our limited warranty program for up-to one (1) year, the technician labor, not-faulty part warranty adjudication fees and/or administration fees may not be; in others words, there may be a fee attached to the requested or eligible warranty services provided, whether or not the part in dispute is faulty or not, and this will be clearly indicated before a technician is sent out for any warranty adjudication requests. In most cases this labor, processing and/or administration fee is between $25-$80. More specifically, the estimated fee ranges for labor, adjudication and/or administration costs include, but are not limited to, the specific categories below:

$25 – $80 (eligible other parts, ports, speakers, cameras labor/adjudication/admin/fuel surcharge/recycling fee)

$25 – $80 (eligible screen swap labor/adjudication/admin/fuel surcharge/recycling fee)

$10 – $25 (eligible battery swap labor/adjudication/admin/fuel surcharge/recycling fee)

$25 – $300 (eligible back glass processing/labor/adjudication/admin/fuel surcharge/recycling fee)

Additionally, for all mailed-in repairs that request warranty, the return shipping is generally the responsibility of the client, once warranty adjudication is approved; we’ll cover the shipping to send it back to you once adjudication / repair is completed however. On a case-by case basis, your warranty approval may include free return shipping and will be noted in your support correspondence.
